Giovanni van Bronckhorst Foundation Target
Sporttarget is honored to contribute to the wonderful initiative of the Giovanni van Bronckhorst Foundation with our specially designed Challenge Target. In close collaboration with Giovanni van Bronckhorst himself, we have developed a unique program that combines sport and education in an inspiring way.
"We soon came up with the idea of starting a real club," says Giovanni. "We wanted to create a place where children feel at home, can learn and have fun. With SV GIO we succeeded."
Sporttarget's Challenge Target is integrated into SV GIO, where children from groups 7 and 8 with learning disabilities get the opportunity to work on their self-confidence and future through an education and sports program.
🏀⚽ During these sporty sessions at SV GIO we not only emphasize reading comprehension, spelling and arithmetic, but also on developing self-confidence and parental involvement. Our shared goal is to give these children a solid foundation for a successful start in secondary education and to teach them that they can determine their own course.
Sporttarget feels privileged to be part of this project and, together with the Giovanni van Bronckhorst Foundation, to contribute to the empowerment of children, so that they can become the leaders of their own future.
